LunaC Publishing
LunaC Publishing is the flagship imprint of LunaC Ventures LLC — the home for our standalone titles: the books that don't fit a single shelf, written for grown readers who want something worth their time.
This is where the range lives. Sharp nonfiction and commentary on the issues of the day. Memoir and narrative drawn from a life of service and observation. Fiction that follows an idea wherever it leads. What ties them together isn't a genre — it's a standard: every LunaC title is honest, well-made, and written to say something, not just to fill a page.
We call these our baseline books because they set the tone for everything the house publishes. Before LunaC branched into professional education, young readers, and art-sparked fiction, it started here — with the conviction that a small, independent press can put out work that's thoughtful, unafraid, and built to last.
Our list spans the map on purpose. A book of political observation sits next to a family story sits next to a novel, because good readers are curious readers, and a house worth following earns trust one honest book at a time.
Independent, family-run, and unhurried — LunaC Publishing puts out books we're proud to put our name on.

LunaC Strategy Lab — Where Acquisition Experience Becomes Working Knowledge
Most contracting books are written to be shelved. Ours are written to be used.
LunaC Strategy Lab is the professional-education imprint of LunaC Ventures LLC — a working library of textbooks, field guides, workbooks, and reference tools built for the people who actually win, award, and manage contracts. Every title distills four decades of federal acquisition experience into something you can open at your desk with a live solicitation in front of you and put straight to work.
The word "Lab" is deliberate. These aren't ivory-tower manuals; they're applied tools — shaped by real engagements across federal, SLED, commercial, and international markets, and built to be marked up, dog-eared, and kept within reach. Whether you're a business owner learning to compete, a proposal team under a deadline, a contracting officer weighing a source-selection call, or a student entering the acquisition workforce, the Strategy Lab meets you where the work happens.
Our library grows across four lines. Atlas volumes are the comprehensive references — deep, navigable maps of a whole domain, anchored by our flagship, The Procurement Atlas. Field Guides are shorter and portable, each one focused on a single high-stakes task. Lab Manuals put theory into practice with templates, checklists, exercises, and knowledge checks — the natural print companions to our CLP-based training courses. And Casebooks turn real-world scenarios into annotated lessons you can learn from without living through them first.
It's one connected ecosystem: the courses feed the books, the books deepen the courses, and every title carries the same standard — clear, current, honest, and genuinely useful.
Because in contracting, the difference between knowing the rules and knowing what to do with them is everything. The Strategy Lab is built for the second one.

LunaC Muse — Fiction Sparked by a Song, a Painting or Sculpture, a Poem
Every story starts somewhere. The LunaC Muse series starts with any work of art.
Muse flips the usual order of things. Instead of a story that later earns an illustration or a soundtrack, here the art comes first — a song, a painting, a poem — and the story grows out of it as a response. One image becomes a world. One verse becomes a life. One melody becomes a journey. It's an old and beautiful idea — that the truest way to answer a piece of art is to make another piece of art — and Muse hands that idea to a new generation of storytellers.
The series runs in three lines. Songlines are stories born from music — a lyric, a mood, a title that wouldn't let go. Canvas stories begin with a painting or a piece of art and imagine their way inside the frame. Verse stories take a poem as their seed and let it bloom into something longer. Because a spark can come to a reader of any age, Muse spans picture books to Young Adult, with each of our young authors drawing from the well that moves them most.
Many of our sparks come from the public domain — the classic poems, paintings, and old songs that belong to all of us — and many more come from original art, music, and verse created right here in the family. That keeps every Muse book wholly its own: an original story, honestly made, standing on the shoulders of the art that inspired it.
For readers, Muse is an invitation to look and listen differently — to finish a book and go find the painting, hum the song, read the poem, and feel the spark for themselves.

LunaC Kids — Books by the Grandkids
LunaC Kids is the young-readers imprint of LunaC Ventures LLC — a family publishing line with a simple, joyful mission: to put real stories by real young authors into the hands of readers who'll see themselves on the page.
What makes us different is who's behind the pen. Our books are written by three grandchildren, each publishing for the audience they know best. Our teen author writes Young Adult fiction — novels with older heroes, real emotional stakes, and the messy, honest business of growing up. Our middle-grade author writes fast, funny, adventure-driven stories for readers ages eight to twelve, full of mystery, friendship, and just enough trouble. And our youngest writes illustrated chapter books and early readers for the six-to-nine crowd, where every short chapter is built to be devoured in one sitting.
Three authors. Three age levels. One family, one banner.
We publish under The LunaC Storytellers — a shared imprint that lets each young writer keep their own voice while growing up alongside their readers. As our authors grow, so do their stories, which means a reader who starts with an early chapter book today can climb right up through middle grade and into YA over the years ahead.
These aren't polished-by-committee books written to a formula. They're genuine — imaginative, heartfelt, and unmistakably kid-made — because the best stories for young readers often come from young minds who still live in that world. Every title is crafted with care, credited to its author by first name, and released under the LunaC family banner readers can trust.
Whether you're a parent hunting for a book your child can't put down, a teacher building a classroom shelf, or a young reader looking for a story that feels like it was written just for you — welcome. Pull up a chair. The Storytellers have something for you.

★ Featured: The Procurement Atlas — Four decades of federal contracting experience, distilled into the desk-ready guide professionals actually use. The flagship of the LunaC Strategy Lab.
Most companies do not lose government contracts because they cannot perform the work.
They lose earlier.
They never saw the opportunity. They searched one portal, found nothing, and assumed the market was thin. They registered too late. They chased bad-fit solicitations. They treated procurement discovery like a keyword hunt instead of a disciplined market system.
The Procurement Atlas fixes that problem.
Written in a blunt, field-tested voice by contracting veteran Greg N. Jensen, this book is a practical map of where government buying actually hides: federal systems, state portals, county and city bid boards, education buyers, utility authorities, surplus channels, reverse auctions, B2B aggregators, global procurement platforms, embassies, military bases, NGOs, and OCONUS markets.
The central argument is simple: the market does not live in one portal.
If your business only checks SAM.gov, you are not seeing the whole battlefield. You are seeing one road on a much larger map.
Inside this field manual, readers will learn how to:
Identify the procurement “portal stack” for every state and territory
Separate real opportunity from bid-chasing noise
Understand login requirements before deadlines become emergencies
Use reverse auctions without destroying margin
Build a daily thirty-minute search discipline
Turn scattered bid sources into a repeatable capture rhythm
Find hidden buyers in local, education, utility, surplus, and global markets
Apply the Opportunity Readiness Index to decide what is worth pursuing
This is not a motivational book about “winning government contracts.” It is a working instrument for finding the market before everyone else arrives.
Part directory, part doctrine, part field manual, The Procurement Atlas gives small businesses, capture managers, proposal teams, contracting professionals, consultants, and market researchers a practical way to stop guessing where buyers post and start building a disciplined opportunity-discovery system.
Because in procurement, the first advantage is not the proposal.
It is the map.
